Our Tree Surgery Services

  • Tree Felling / Removal

Safe removal of trees, using aerial dismantling techniques if necessary.

  • Crown Reduction

Reducing the size of the canopy, decreasing shading under / near the tree and mitigating the potential “sail” effect of a large crown. An appropriate shape will always be maintained for the tree.

  • Crown Thinning

Removing some interior branches from the crown of the tree. Similarly to a reduction, it will allow more light through and reduce the “sail” effect.

  • Deadwooding

Removing dead or dying limbs to keep the tree safe.

  • Pollarding

For certain fast growing species (such as willow), this is often the most practical management option. It will leave the tree very bare initially, but bushy green growth will soon return.

  • Waste Removal

A complete cleanup of debris and branches once the work is finished, leaving each site neat and tidy.
